![]() Next we don't know if Dexter is evil or not, does he abandon his family so that he can keep on killing people? That's pretty close to evil, the real question is if he gave up fighting his urge to kill. While those movies are fun lets not pretend they are anything but flimsy revenge fantasies used as a excuse to glorify violence. John feels that his motives (somebody shot his dog) justices all the actions he makes after that and he doesn't really care how many people pay the price or if they are innocent or not, that's definitely evil and narcissistic to the point of being a sociopath. Because he has the capacity to be that evil. Hence why John is able to murder hundreds over his dog. Just because they no longer commit actions like that doesn't make them less evil. Think of a drug lord that "retires" who tortured and killed kids in the past but is now considered a good neighbor. Just because he retired, doesn't mean he's not evil. "People keep asking me if I'm back, well I'm back!" John willing embraced those actions before retiring and later embraces them again for revenge. A much better argument could be made for Agent 47 over John Wick. As you said he murders hundreds of people, many of them innocent, for his job before retiring. ![]() These are interesting choices you made and I would like to make an argument for them.
